It is the policy of the Board that no person in this district shall, on the basis of race, color, disability, creed, religion, sex, age, or national origin be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination in any education program or activity. This includes employment, retention, and promotion.
The Superintendent shall designate a member of the staff to investigate complaints, which may be brought against the district in regard to any alleged discriminatory action. The name, address, and telephone number of the designee shall be publicized. Grievance procedures shall be promulgated to support the intent of this policy.
Any complaint of sex discrimination practices or any noncompliance with Title IX requirements should be registered with the Coordinator of Title IX activities. Any complaint regarding equal opportunity employment may be filed on a grievance form provided by the Board.
