Daron Bell earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama in Food in Nutrition. He began his career as a food service director at a hospital in southern Indiana and continued that career in Prattville.  In 2012 he joined the team at the Alabama State Department of Education in the Child Nutrition Section.  He worked in several roles in his tenure at the ALSDE. He has continued his career in child nutrition by joining the Pike Road Schools family in July of 2017.  He is an active board member for the Montgomery County Cattlemen Association, an eagle scout, and a former member of the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band. He is married to Lacey and they have one son, Dawson. They enjoy spending their free time working on their small farm and riding and driving their horses.
