Due to hazardous road conditions, Pike Road Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 23. Many roads and bridges within Pike Road are currently icy. With falling temperatures and shaded areas, these conditions are expected to continue overnight and into the day tomorrow. We are mindful of our staff and faculty who commute from outside of the area, and the safety of our young drivers traveling in these conditions.
School will reopen Friday, January 24.

Pike Road Schools is closed today in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Due to the probability of extreme temperatures, wintery precipitation, and potential impact on travel, all Pike Road Schools, and PRS offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan 21st and Wednesday, Jan 22nd, including after school activities. All school operations are expected to resume as normal Thursday, January 23. Please stay warm and weather aware.

Due to potential inclement weather, we will delay the start of school by 2 hours tomorrow morning, Friday, January 10. We are mindful of our staff and faculty who commute from outside the area, and the safety of our young drivers traveling in these potential conditions.
Buses will run 2 hours later than their scheduled time, and schools will open 2 hours after their regular start time.

Pike Road High School proudly celebrates the hard work and achievement of the learners who earned qualifying scores on their AP exams! The students and their families were invited to a special reception, where they received a $100 gift card for each qualifying score. These outstanding scholars were also recognized during the basketball game. Congratulations to these Patriots!
The State of the Schools Address has been rescheduled for Monday, December 16 as part of the 6:00 Board of Education Meeting. Dr. Lankford and central office personnel will highlight some of our school's academic achievements and this year's state report card.
